About Us

Our Vision

To see all nations, tribes and language groups have a growing and dynamic Body of Christ active in their midst.

Our Mission

We encourage, strengthen and support native or indigenous mission groups working on the front lines of world evangelization by linking them with their spiritual counterparts in the West, to jointly advance the Kingdom of God in all regions

Our Strategy

We serve as a channel for North American churches desiring to pray for, encourage, and financially support their spiritual counterparts ministering on the frontlines of world evangelization through native missions.

Faith in Action

Faith in Action 1
Working together, we advance God’s Kingdom by providing opportunities for mutual prayer, fellowship and support. We strive to be a bridge connecting believers in the West with those in need across the globe.
Faith in Action 2
Even though most of the world’s remaining unreached people groups live in countries closed to Western missions, 24:14 World has access to them through our active partnership with numerous native/indigenous mission groups.
Faith in Action 3
We also serve as a channel for the persecuted church to share their lessons and experiences of faithfulness in the midst of suffering, which helps mature and grow the church in the West as we learn from their example.

History

24:14 World was originally founded in 1996 by a group of Christian men and women from the Harrisonburg, Virginia area dedicated to strengthening Christian witness in Nepal and the surrounding nations through community development projects. The ministry’s name comes from Matthew 24:14 which says, “And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony (witness) to all nations, and then the end will come.”

24:14 World History

In 2019, the Board of Directors elected a new Board based in Charlottesville, Virginia, which charted a new course for the organization. The mission was significantly broadened to support indigenous ministries establishing a vibrant gospel witness on every continent among the world’s least evangelized peoples through church planting, compassion ministry and community development.

What We Believe

What We Believe 1

As evangelical Christians, we accept the revelation of the Living God given in the Bible and confess the historic faith of the gospel set forth therein.

What We Believe 2

We believe in one God, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

What We Believe 3

We believe in the true deity of Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth and His sinless life.

What We Believe 4

We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen human beings, making them subject to God's wrath and condemnation.

What We Believe 5

We believe in the justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ who was crucified and bodily raised from the dead.

What We Believe 6

We believe in the illuminating, regenerating, in-dwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

Leadership

The current leadership of 24:14 World has nearly 100 years of combined experience in serving native or indigenous missions across the globe. This vast experience has profoundly shaped the vision and priorities of the leadership team, which is firmly committed to developing the next generation of dynamic leaders to carry on the torch.

At the heart of 24:14 World is team leadership and team building. Carl Gordon, one of the co-founders of Advancing Native Missions, is one of the primary visionaries. Alongside him serve a group of younger men and women from various walks of life who have all embraced the vision of seeing the gospel proclaimed in places that still lack a viable witness for Christ Jesus.

Our staff team is composed of followers of Christ from the U.S., Lebanon, China, Ukraine, India, Liberia, Lebanon, and other nations. Collectively the entire team works together to determine the direction of the mission and the stewardship of entrusted funds.
